West Riverfront Park, located along West Jefferson Avenue between Rosa Parks Boulevard and Joe Louis Arena, is a 20-acre green oasis that features an extra-wide RiverWalk, three pathways linking the waterfront to neighborhoods, benches, bike racks and plenty of wide-open space for activities.

Mo Pop Parking Lot
General parking at Mo Pop Festival is $25 per day, and Premium parking is $40 per day. There is no overnight parking or camping onsite. You can purchase your parking pass at checkout with your festival passes. If you already have your passes, but want to add on parking, please select the days below that you would like to purchase.

People Mover
Take the People Mover for just $.75 to the Joe Louis Arena stop, then walk a short mile west to the Mo Pop Entrance! The People Mover operates from 9am – 2am Saturday and Noon – Midnight Sunday

Mo Pop is an outdoor event. No refunds, exchanges or cancellations. Everyone and all items are subject to search upon entry and at any time inside the venue. Lineup and set times are subject to change. All attendees are subject to Mo Pop's Purchase Policy.

How old do I need to be to attend Mo Pop?

Mo Pop is an All Ages Event. Children 12 & under will be allowed to enter Mo Pop for free with an adult with a pass.

Is Mo Pop ADA accessible?

Mobility viewing platforms will be available at both stages. ADA restrooms will be located throughout the festival site including at each mobility viewing platform. For more specific questions, please email info@mopopfestival.com

The closest major international airport is Detroit Metro Airport (DTW).

Where do I park?

What can I bring to Mo Pop Festival?

What can't I bring to Mo Pop?

The following items are prohibited at Mo Pop Festival:

  • No instruments
  • No weapons or firearms of any kind
  • No colors, patches, chains or chain wallets
  • No umbrellas, no hula hoops
  • No Selfie Sticks
  • No back packs or duffle bags
  • No drugs and/or drug paraphernalia
  • No DSLR’s, video cameras and/or audio recording devices
  • No glass containers
  • No outside food/beverage
  • No powdered substances
  • No folding chairs, lawn chairs or coolers
  • No pets with the exception of service animals
  • No drones
  • No totems or signage on extended handles
  • No Aerosol
  • No Hammocks
  • Per Michigan state law, the use of marijuana on or around festival grounds is prohibited.

Will there be food at Mo Pop?

Absolutely! Numerous Metro Detroit food trucks will feature diverse menus for vegans, vegetarians, and other dietary needs. The Shipyard will feature some of the finest pop-up restaurants in the area.

What should I know about booze?

You MUST be 21+ to drink. Please drink responsibly. Do not drink and drive. Do not buy a drink for anyone under 21. You will not be served if you are under 21, don’t have a photo ID proving you are at least 21, and/or are intoxicated.

Are lockers available?

Am I allowed to exit and re-enter the festival grounds?

Mo Pop Festival is a no re-entry event. Once you leave for the day you cannot re-enter that day.

I have special dietary/medical needs. Will my special items be allowed in?

Outside food and drink is not allowed at Mo Pop Festival. Patrons with medical based dietary restrictions can email info@mopopfestival.com for instructions on how to bring in dietary necessities. A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring any medically necessary materials and medications, provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Feel free to head over to the main medical tent at any time for assistance with storing your medical materials.

Do you have a medical tent on site?

EMS tent is located near the Grande Stage at the east end of the festival. You can drop off mediation, nurse your child, or speak to a medical professional.

What's the ATM situation like?

We have ATM’s on site, however they are powered by a 4G wireless signal which can be spotty at times, so please plan accordingly.

Are you accepting volunteers at Mo Pop Festival?

Thank you for being interested in working at Mo Pop Festival. At this time we are not currently seeking volunteers.
